I moved in March 2009 when the previous Management was there. When I moved in Arbors at Berkeley, there were so many empty apartments. The new managment took over and now there aren't many empty apartments at all.
Things I love about the apartment are the location is great, I work 5 minutes away so I get to come home for lunch. I love the reasonable price of the rent. I like the diversity of the area. I like that the apartment is in a safe area. I like that the leasing office is always friendly and efficient. I must say the maintenance is always very quick with repairs A goes to Alden. There are a few things that need improvement like the parking. You have to get home by 7:00pm and stay home if you want a good spot. The apartments are kind of small. You can't fit much more than a full size bed in the bedroom. The kitchen and the bathroom have no drawers so I had to buy a hutch for the bathroom and an island on wheels with drawers for the kitchen. You can hear your neighbors thru the walls sometimes. Thankfully I'm above the leasing office so I only hear them when I stay home from work. But overall it is a great place to live. Every apartment is going to have some issues. But the issues somehow don't seem so bad if your rent is not high! ;)
