It is very hard for those of us who grew up in major cities like New York and Philadelphia, to find high-rise luxury apartments in Atlanta that allow one to walk to the grocery store, train, post office, video store, etc. It is even harder to find one with the amenities, such as saunas, large fitness gyms, pools, jacuzzi's and other upscale features, but at an affordable price. We have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with sunroom for $1,300 a month, with cable TV included. All we pay for is the electric bill, which ran about $70 during a very hot July. The neighbors are great, most of the parking is covered and there are tennis courts and a large party room with separate billiards room and a residents' business office. We can even drop off Blockbuster videos downstairs. With a 24 hour doorman, this cannot be beat.
