Do yourself a favor, and do NOT live at AMLI at Clairmont. The manipulation started when we moved in last May. We were shown an apartment with new cabinets, flooring and appliances, and were then moved into an old, filthy apartment with chipped and old cabinets, dirty carpeting and crumbling ceiling in the bathroom. Our car was stolen from the "secure" parking lot the first week we lived there. Security gates remained open for monthes at a time. Our neighbor was evicted at gunpoint. That was the last straw. We did not feel safe at AMLI so we terminated our lease early. We forfeited our 300 dollar security deposit and paid an additional months rent in liquidated dammages. Upon moving out AMLI had the gall to send us a cleaning bill for their crap hole apartment. This cleaning bill was for 247.00. We told them that we had forfeited our 300 dollar deposit and that should cover the costs. We were then told that 200.00 of that deposit was an administrative fee. We have sent a letter to every AMLI property in Metro Atlanta and their corporate office detailing this, and they have done nothing. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SIGN FOR and LOOK ELSEWHERE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A PLEASENT LIVING EXPERIENCE.

I would be interested in contacting/speaking with this former tenant. I recently moved out of another AMLI property in Alpharetta, and the management wants me to pay a fee for "guaranteed odor control for pet urine." I don't even own a pet. I am trying to find out how many other people have been charged this fee or other suspicious, unauthorized or unwarranted fees. Please contact me at MikeMcCormickEsq@aol.com.
