Our experience here started off pretty well for the most part and gone down hill since.

Overall, it wouldn't be too bad of a place to live if it wasn't for one huge problem. Maintenance has been good, the people in the office are relatively helpful, and our actual apartment is alright. The one problem is SAFETY and its a big problem. We've lived here since August 2006 and in January there was a rash of criminal activity. Computers were stolen out of the leasing office's business center DURING LEASING HOURS while people WERE WORKING in other parts of the office. Several cars were broken in to (ours) and some vandalism was done to the clubhouse area. One apartment complex down the road has had it much worse than ours more than likely because of their proximity to the Clairmont Lodge area. They had a many more car break ins AND apartment break ins. We haven't had any apartment break ins but who knows how long that may last.

If safety is huge for you (and I can't imagine why it wouldn't be) then I would not recommend this place. We are going to tough it out the last 6 months of our lease and then look for something safer.
