After living at Amli on Clairmont for 6 months of our 12 month lease, the only thing that can be done to ease my mind is to stop others from making the same mistake of signing a lease here! I have encountered several problems with this community since moving here. The walk-in gate doesn't function correctly, it's always broken, cars have been broken in to several times in 6 months. The management is extremely rude. Our unit is one of the only ones in the community with a washer and dryer connection and after 6months management still hasn't fixed the community dryers (which by the way... they only have TWO), so I'm forced to go to a laundromat every time. When my roommate asked for our money back for the washer/dryer not working the community MANAGER refused at first and called him a liar. They then questioned his intelligence in continuing to put money in a broken machine. Well, let's see that could be that the clothes were wet, and we would keep putting money into the dryer hoping something would happen because we didn't have any other choice except to transport already wet and washed clothes into our car and drive a few miles to a laundromat which didn't seem logical either. The latest problem is the plumbing. The ceiling to our entrance has fallen through, flooded our extra bathroom, the water leaks everywhere. This leak has caused a flood 4 times now and each time the community says it's fixed. They have never made an attempt to deduct from rent for our trouble, or even an attempt to clean the carpet that has been flooded after two months. At first they said it was the air conditioning now they say it's the hot water heater! But since the leak is in our entrance and our bathroom, I'm guessing it's bathroom water! This place is terrible. Oh and there was also this one time when they came to fix our outlets because our lights and electric outlets in our entire kitchen and living room were not working. It took them 6 hours to fix that problem and we had FOUR different maintenance guys in our home to do so. And they stole our energy efficient light bulb. Oh, and as someone previous said, after calling in pest control more than three times, we still have roaches everywhere. I still can't figure out why.
