I was attracted to The Magnolia because of the spacious and location in proximity to work.

That all changed promptly when the mold began growing all over my walls and the base-boards under my sink began to rot less than one month into the lease. I called them to fix it and that took nearly 3 weeks to come fix.

My dishwasher and stove completely went out and that took about 2 weeks to fix.

Finally, about 3 months into the lease, I thought the apt would work. I was sadly mistaken. The gate never works, and the neighbors have fiestas in the parking lot. When you drive up, they stand there and I almost had to drive up on the grass to get by. When complaining to the office staff about the loud parties and public drunkiness, they say, "call the cops."

Seven months into the lease, someone broke into the apartment (or at least tried). The complete frame of the door was completely ripped off, and guess what' NO one came by to fix it until two days had passed. They put four nails in it (two per side of the frame and told me they'd be back to caulk (sp') the frame. They haven't done so and I move out in 2 weeks.

The bugs (from ants to spiders to silverfish) are a non-stop terror. I can wake up to them each morning in the bathroom. They pest control is a non-existant dept. I haven't seen them but one since I moved in. Speaking of the bathroom, my toilets are consistently broken, and if it weren't for my uncle, they'd never work.

BOTTOM LINE:

Don't do it!!!!! Please!!

Petrucio- I don't think it would be easier to just switch apartments-- anyone who has ever moved would tell you that. If i'm gonna move, I'm gonna move away.

I don't blame you. You were smart to move. Why add fuel to the fire? Way to go! Get out while you can.
