On May 14th a student was mugged (robbed) at gunpoint outside the swimming pool. There are no lights on the walkways and even though you need an access number to get inside the building, there are 2 back doors without locks. About 10% of the tenants who live here look and act (and often are) criminals. Playing loud music, using profanity at other tenants, knocking on other tenants' doors in the middle of the night, trashing the elevator with garbage and leaving trash in the corridors is what you experience EACH SINGLE DAY. "Slum-mit " at Lenox is a nightmare. I moved out in 7 months after my roommate was robbed at gunpoint and my car was broken into.
The criminals know that the management does not care so they have made this the gangster's paradise for crime and wilful behavior.
Not suitable fo families or couples or students. Very appropriate for felons and blue collar uneducated uncivilized criminals.
Don't even think twice. STAY AWAY.

This posting is very scary but true. I live in the Summit and have an 8 year old child; I've hated living here since I've seen the bad element of people that live there. I am astounded on how people do not take care of where they live. There is trash everywhere, the hallways are filthy on how people throw there trash as if there was no trash can to put garbage in. The elevators are dirty and people urinate in the stairways. The noise of people talking loudly outside and music with no regard of others. The building is roach invested and managment does not care. Since I've been living here the managment has changed 3 times in 1 year. I call about the stairway urine and it's been two weeks and no clean up yet. They simply do not care! And just to comment on the mugging, I called Pizza Hut and Papa John's for delivery and they will not come out to our place because they have been mugged. I definetly do not reccomend this place to anyone, I thank God my nieghbors are good people but I was new to Atlanta and if I knew then what I know now I would have not renewed my lease; but I am definitly getting out in a few months. I hope this helps to keep people away. The managment does not deserve the rent they collect. They have no regard for tennants that take care of the place and pay there rent on time.

The vacancy rate is very high now as many people have left after the escalated crime. Soon the aprtments will be occupied only by criminals. I feel like I am living in a garbage dump, with all that bad smell.
