I signed a 13 month lease with the new management company being assured that big changes were going to take place. The roof was repaired, the buildings were repainted inside and out but the basic problem that haunts this place continues- the people that live here. People yelling in the halls, domestic disputes, smoking pot in the courtyards, groups of thugs hanging out far into the night in the parking lot and a general crime problem- a murder, two cars stolen and one car broken into that I personally know about but this was just from the people I know in my building! It is the ghetto of Buckhead. Additionally, the new management is not very responsive to maintenance problems- I complained for about two months about a leak but only got a response when it flooded my bathroom and I called every few hours. Oh, and I have about 10,000 cockroach roommates which freaked me out in the beginning but now are so commonplace my cat doesn't even pay attention to them anymore.

The only real perk is the location. It is absolutely the most convenient place I have ever lived. But that is about the only thing I will miss about it when I move out next week.
