Property is well maintained in appearance. They touch up and pressure wash the buildings in the Spring, and my building's walkways are cleaned frequently. Gates or exercise equipment are fixed promptly if they break. Pool and tennis areas are is well maintained and clean. People feel safe enough to jog, play tennis or walk dogs after dark. Apartments are well designed, and mine is very roomy. You have a choice between all electric or gas/electric. The community laundry room, if you need it, is very low traffic, clean and and secure. Some outside bugs that others have mentioned are due to a large amount of trees and foliage on the property. I haven't had any roaches in my apartment, and none of my neighbors have reported this either. The property has lots of picnic areas that are under-utilized but readily available. People drive at safe speeds inside the property and the trash area is cleaned up daily by maintenance. Any trash build-up you might see around the compactors occurs on Saturday when everyone takes out the trash, or after the maintenance hours. I blame the tenants for being filthy, and not the maintenance staff, because I see them cleaning up the trash on my way to work every morning. Windows are double-paned and my apartment heats up and cools off very quickly (energy efficient). Overall, I've really loved the apartments and am only moving because I'm leaving the state. Keep in mind that most people who post on this site do so only because they want to trash a property's name for some reason, and most of the bad reviews exaggerate.

Is this person getting commission from the rental agency for renters? That would be the only reason I can see that they would write anything positive. There is a dog ordinace. Tenants let dogs use the restroom in the middle of the sidewalk and there it stays. Management doesn't do a thing and it is nasty, yet there are signs all over that a person can be fined. What a joke. Cleanup? There is none. There is trash everywhere. Someone threw trash in the bush and there it still sits. No wonder there are bugs everywhere.

Conspiracy theory much? I wasn't paid by anyone for my review - people just have different experiences. It does seem strange when someone writes a good review here because most reviews are by people with bad experiences, and that's good, but not always the case. I probably had a better experience than others because of where my building was located - fairly close to the entrance and leasing office. Our buildings looked better than some others behind mine. I lived in a building near the front dumpster and every Monday on my way to work I did see one of the two grounds guys cleaning up the mounds of trash that people had carelessly thrown in the vicinity of the dumpster over the weekend. And each other weekday morning I did see him cleaning up debris on my way to work, every day. I remember because I used to say hi and half the time he ignored me. Again, let me point out that this was at the front of the property, near the entrance. I have no idea what went on in the back but I had a good experience with cleanliness. As for the dog poop, it is the responsibility of the owner. I would see people letting their dog poop in the grass just feet from a poop bag thingy, and they would not grab one and pick it up. Most dog owners are bad about this; you should confront the person like I started doing. I did noticed some demographic changes while I lived there that were disconcerting. I also saw changes in office staff's makeup and attitudes, though there were not complete turnovers like some other places. Additionally, the door on the fitness room was always broken, kids would play in there, people from Fountain Lakes would use it, and eventually I stopped going there. That said, I still had a good experience there. I had an issue with my deposit after I moved out, and despite being tiffed about it, I'd still give the place a good review. you can't expect everyone who comes here to havte the apartments they're discussing - then they'd have to rename the site.
