Yes, The Stratford is nicely situated near Perimeter Mall, 400, and 285, management and maintenence are friendly, the building is currently being repainted, there is valet trash service, and the elevators always seem to work, but that is all the positive I can offer.

When I first moved in, my carpet was infested with fleas presumably from the previous tenant's pet. I had a leak in my bathroom that caused a hole in the ceiling (which was patched without first being repaired, and finally repaired after a second complaint and a new hole). The AC remained broken for at least a week. The front gates are secure roughly 50% of the time, and the building doors sometimes remain open. The walls are very thin, causing me to hear my upstairs neighbors at all hours of the day. Some tenants don't care where their animals relieve themselves: I've had animal waste on my patio the entire time I've lived here. The workout room luckily has a functional TV, but lacks free weights or fully functional eliptical machines or treadmills. There is a nice pool and hot tub, but in the summer, they become very crowded. The parking spaces are too compact, and the lot is relatively unlit at night.

I guess I'm getting what I pay for, but I will not be renewing my lease for obvious reasons. Do your research.
