Look before you leap into a lease at this complex. The Conner group manages it and they have no problem adding extra charges after you sign a lease with them. -Low rent specials are the lure. Unfortunately, I renewed several months ago because I couldn't move at the time. To my surprise, I was given a huge rent increase! Then I was surprised again by another $30 increase to an $85 water/sewer bill. Months later, my water/sewer bill averages about $100 per month for a one bedroom. Sadly, I don't know if the new residents are being charged this amount. I know the specials are good for new residents, but they severly punish old residents by having us subsidize these specials. On average, old residents pay $200 more per month for a one bedroom than a new renter, and $300 per month more for a two bedroom than a new renter. Once your lease is up, expect a really high increase. The greed of the management company knows no bounds. And frankly, I don't know how they can keep what they're doing up. The old resident pool is shrinking weekly, so pretty soon they'll have a complex with only 10% of the original residents. And I don't think those remaining poor souls can pay $400-500 extra dollars a month to subsidize more new residents (because that's what it will take to keep those specials going). Plus new residents will become hip to their game and start leaving too. It seems the company's only goal is to destroy this apartment community!

WOW!!! I feel really bad for you guys!! I live down the street in Berkeley Trace apts & we don't get charged for all of that stuff. They include water & trash within our monthly rent, which is a total of a $30 flat fee. Also our gates have only been broken one time since I moved here in June that I know of (repaired the next day). Georgia Power is also the electric provider (all electric apts.) I think Berkeley Run is the same also. You may want to try moving across the street to Charleston Court/Berkeley Run or Berkeley Trace. When I was looking at apts in this area I just got a bad feeling when I toured the Stratford...it was actually one of my top 3 choices. Hopefully you all are able to move out soon.

Trash, Trash, Trash and more Trash...and where do you put trash? In the dump. Sad so sad to see The Stratford turn to Trash...let's start with the Monkeys that Work in the leasing office. You are actually stepping into ghetto fab hood. The one Character in there looks like she wants to suck your ---- for $0.50 cents..U'd know Who I'm talking about the mn she greets you. All is left to say, my lease is up soon And i'm getting out of this once beautiful community turn to ---- by the Connor group.. Good luck to everybody and to the old stratford timers...im joining u out there.
