I've been a resident at the Stratford for over a year now, and I can't wait to move out. The Connor Group took over a few months ago, and this place has seriously gone downhill. All of the posts about the horrible management are true. There are 2 people on staff in the office, and if you're lucky enough to actually find them in there, you can forget about any prompt attention to your concerns.

The bottom line is that The Connor Group is a horrible management company, and The Stratford is NOT worth the amount of rent they charge. The new management switched us over to a new utility company, which resulted in a serious increase in our water bills. The new water company is based in Ohio, which is where The Connor Group is based. Of course GA residents will pay more money for Ohio-based utilities. The management doesn't care though, as long as it's convenient for them.

The place looks nice at first glance, but don't be fooled. There is no routine maintenance staff. Instead, management hires 2 cleaning ladies to come in once in a while, when the dirt piles on thick. The "security" gate is usually broken. The door to the actual building is always broken - literally, it's never been fixed. The hot tub and pool are disgusting. Luckily, there are a couple long-time residents who clean/fix them as a courtesy. A couple times, management hired some migrant workers to do some landscaping work. But other than that, the grounds/landscaping are very messy. The same residents who tend to the pool usually tend to the landscaping, just to help out.

This place used to be beautiful. The old management wasn't perfect, but at least the place looked pretty and clean, and the residents' concerns were addressed. I absolutely will not renew my lease under The Connor Group. There are plenty of nice properties on Glenridge drive, I suggest checking those out. Don't waste your money on this place.
