Two years ago I was so excited to move into this complex. My wrap around balcony overlooked beautiful landscaping. I loved the layout of my apartment. And the staff seemed happy to work here.
Connor group took over this year and the standards have dropped. We had problems with our AC unit this year. Multiple calls to the front office were met with the answering machine. You would physically have to walk to the front office to get help and even then the office maybe closed during the day (and not during the lunch hour). From a staff of five or more before the Connor group, the front office was now staffed with two with the manager constantly being away. One person to show the apartments and not answer the phone and not be there to assist you. When she was there her professionalism had a lot to be desired. This person has been replaced.
Our water/etc. bills have gone up since the apartment complex shares a water meter. So everyone who is actually still living here shares that bill based on the square footage that they rent.
The standards for landscaping have gone down. The trash compactors can be broken leading to tenents leaving their trashed piled up. It's not a pretty sight to come to after work. The landscaping of the grounds are at minimal at best. Before the flowers and upkeep was gorgeous. Old landscapes were replaced with new plants. Now it's just dirt and cheap looking signs informing you of look/lease/free rent specials as you drive in.
The final straw for me was when they wanted to increase our rent for a two bedroom/2 bath from 1192 a month to 1256. I do not want to pay them close to $800 more a year for shoddy service. I refuse. Connor group has ruined this apartment complex. Please look elsewhere.

This is so true. This place is a sad place to live now or any other time that "The Conner Group" might own this place.
