Pretty similar with previous post, pros and cons of this apartment. I hope Townview keeps improving because I hate to move out from here. Pros: 1. Moderate 2Ba/2Be rate, 800-900 for me. 2. Friendly management, less than 24 hours service & response. 3. Social occasions, snacks, little gifts from management. 4. Clean environment, Blowers clean the falling leaves regularly, and a good gentleman pickups trash and make sure trash bin always clean without any trash falling out. 5. Some good neighbours 6. Transportation, MARTA Bus 37, 2000 ft /600 m to AMTRAK Station, Bus Marta 23 or Peachtree Road and 24 hours Grocery Store 7. Behind Atlantic Station Shopping center and Regal Cinema 8. Close to highway I-75 I-85 and 5 minutes driving to Midtown, Georgia Tech, 10 minutes to Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Park etc. 12. Very bright and good lighting on parking lot, less chance of car break in. They'll tow abandoned vehicles, and just repainted the lines. 13. New carpet and painted on new contract. 14. Clean apartment, clean bathroom. 15. gym, pool, office centre
Cons: 1. Security - although I never had such experience, but you can not avoid this for an open apartments area. Need more lightings on outer rings of the apartment complex. 2. Old alarm system (needs improvement)or change provider. * will not tell the weakness for security purpose *. 3. Architectural failure: Old compressors adjacent to bedroom windows not soundproof windows = Buzzing sound when AC started. 4. Architectural failure: Poor ventilation, just like any other american housing in atlanta. The architect is kinda stupid to create kitchen far from windows and using only a blower that blows from the stove across your living room (no exhaust). You'll smell your steak all over the apartment. 5. Mild ants on winter, scary looking but harmless centipedes on summer. Spray Raid yourself and their gone. 6. Low efficiency central AC (poor isolated tunnels). Expect $50-75 for electricity. No gas needed though. 7. Kinda flat rate water bill, expect minimum $40 for water & service no matter how smart you save the water. Outdated faucets - not a shower saver (change yourself), outdated toilet - not a toilet saver (kinda hard to change) 8. Sometimes bloody trains blow the horn 5 times at around 1 - 4 a.m., I wish there is a petition that force trains not to blow multiple times at night near the residence area. Townview's windows are not soundproof. Fortunately mine is a bit far from the rail. 9. Stupid deaf new neighbours who drive around the parking lot with their car stereo out loud (sometimes) with a stupid rap music. 10.1st floor & 2nd floor, you'll hear fat person stomping above you. 3rd floor, you'll loose your weight a bit from the exercise and pulling your furniture up. 11. Minor weak structures of the walls and patio. 12. Small gym & pool - made me shy to use it. 13. No fireplace ;D

I lived in Townview Station for 2 years (primarily when it was Hawthorne Townview) and this is a completely accurate description! Especially about the train - I was close to the track and it was awful.
