I will give you a pretty well balanced story that isn't unfair and rude. The leasing agents seem very friendly and everything works as it should. I have run into no major issues like some of the other reviews, but I have only been here for a short while. There are a larger number of bums all up and down Peachtree Street than almost any other street near GSU. Just make sure to have pepper spray at all times. You are living downtown. It is going to be sketchy no matter where you go. If you take nothing away from this review, remember one thing: You can get a great deal, IF you make them give you a copy of your leasing agreement. If not, you will likely be conned (maybe a strong word but still true). I thought I was conned, but there was no way to prove it. They marked over the previous monthly rate on the agreement I signed and made it a hundred dollars or so higher. I still didn't know for sure that they had done this, so I asked a resident who has lived here a couple months longer than me, while passing in the elevator, if they did the same thing to him. His body quickly became animated and agreed that they had done this to him too... he was obviously telling the truth. You can beat the system. Sign that agreement and immediately demand a copy. Like I said, the apartment is right near GSU and it is well kept. Despite the issues and dishonesty, I do recommend these apartments to those who plan to beat the system. In fact.. do that for any apartment around here, who knows... maybe that sort of conning is standard.
