I couldn't agree more with the other negative remarks from other current and former tenants. I thought I was making out like a fat rat to live in Buckhead at such a great price; I was sadly mistaken. The apartment I moved into reeked of smoke from the previous tenant and the washer and dryer that come with the unit are both old and mismatched. If you ever have a maintenance request, woe be unto you because it'll never get done or if anything is done, it's the wrong thing.
The neighbors are atrocious. There are other young professionals and some individuals who seem to be older who are great, but all the hood rats and students have turned this place into a dump. I just found out that Ivy Chase serves as student housing for AIU, which explains a whole lot. Even with valet trash pickup, these idiots leave trash around their doors all day or simply drop their beer cans from their balconies into the bushes and call it a day.
Oh, I forgot to mention that some people think this is a club, so they play their music in their cars and ground floor apartments so loud that I can hear it up on the top floor. They're also fond of standing in the parking lots having loud conversations in the middle of the night. I'd had enough when I was going to work two days ago and encountered what looked like a crackhead on the steps.
Needless to say, I'll be vacating this property at the end of my lease term.

I agree with this post. I had similar problems with loud talking in the parking area. If you get a good deal I can understand, but if you pay top dollar you will not like it much......I think changes in the property have been made, since you will be paying top dollar!
