Uptown Square is a very interesting name for a very lack-luster complex.
The apartmenst are tiny & ridiculously overpriced. The hallways between apartments are open air, meaning it could be 20 degrees or 100 degrees when you leave for work. The paint & decor is sub-par, and the greatest attribute is the location.

Also dont count on the leasing office to help you when you need it. We went for 2 weeks without hot water, broken door locks, and other maintenance requests.

If you want to WASTE thousands of dollars per month, this is the place for you.
The gym is small, the parking is minimal, and the amenities are...a tiny pool' A zen garden that no one uses' Thats pretty much it.

If you really want to find a nice complex, dont go with any Lane Company property. You are but a number to them, and they could care less about you while surrounding you with a pseudo-Uptown atmosphere.

As for the office not caring, you couldn't have said it better. They treat you as if you are wasting their time when you have a problem. As for the prices... They will soon realize this when NO ONE renews their lease. I've spoken to a number of people and they are all .... OUTTA HERE. As for the amenities... I didnt think we had any? where do i find those? I thought the huge crane out back was especially nice, but I didnt know they were calling that an amenity. The only reason we would renew is because packing is a -----. Being by marta is nice, but for some reason, they think that is going to sell them. It's nice, but it really only brings low class riff raff which love to scream and yell at all hours of the night. LANE PROPERTIES: If you read this by chance... stop worrying about your bottom line and get with the program. People want to be a little more than just a number to you.
