I've renewed my lease a couple times, despite my better judgement. When i tell them I'm not renewing, they slash my rent and I stay. Finally, I am actually leaving. Here are my opinions, take for what you want:

Office staff: OBSCENELY high turn over. I can't believe how frequently this changes, I'd expect turn over in apartment staff but this is ridiculous. gary is the only one that seems to every accomplish anything.

Packages: All packages are left in the leasing office. That would be great if they ever notified you of a package. I haven't received a package slip in over a year, apparently I should be a mind reader when someone sends me something. Not the biggest deal, just frustrating.

Parking: Lots of crime/vandalism. Given the location, I'd expect some crime but this seems excessive. On a positive, always plenty of resident parking. Guest parking is hit or miss.

Safety: I don't feel safe here. Several unit of been broken into, usually not first floor units. The "safety officer" has no presence.

Price: Do NOT pay listed rent. They will come down a lot on the rent. Even at the lower rate, I feel like you aren't getting much for your money.

Pool: The pool gets really loud, that should be expected. But most of the noise comes from screaming children and as a single person, I'm not at a point in my life I want to deal with that. Also, they've started locking the pool gate starting at 6 PM and they frequently forget to unlock it in the morning after the leasing office opens. It's Atlanta and I'd expect a pool to be open more than a few hours a day.

Gym: The gym is decent. Having a gym onsite is nice. Wish the gym wasn't so hot and wish the equipment was maintained better, things are frequently broken. If you're just looking for a few weights it will meet your needs.

Construction: The building is very poorly constructed and things are really starting to fall apart. The building seems much older than it is. A lot of the hallways smell terrible. Daily I see poop, vomit, trash, or condoms in stairwells and hallways. Maintence staff are hit or miss. My A/C was out and I had to follow-up daily for 10 days to get it fixed. Frustrating and hot!

I can't believe I stayed here so long and I am beyond thrilled to be leaving! I have a couple coworkers that lived here and ended up breaking their leases because of noise, staff, and the general condition of the building. I do not know of anyone else that extended their lease.
