Uptown Square

This property is the most poorly managed property I have ever lived at. Please keep in mind there are many hidden fees, whatever you are quoted monthly, tack on about $70 more than that. In addition one month after moving out, we received a notice from a collection agency saying we owed "backed rent" which is totally bogus. Now we are having to deal with a credit agency and lawyer to make sure our reputation/credit remains in good standing.

In addition, if there is something that needs fixing, expect it to take awhile to get done. The bathroom above us leaked so badly, that parts of the ceiling fell through onto all of our belongings. Our bathroom remained unusable for the better part of 5 weeks. In the meantime we showered in the 2nd bathroom or elsewhere.
I have an architectural degree and I can assure you that the building is poorly built, definantly expect inconveniences for maintenance requirements.

In addition, please be aware that 20% of this community is what is considered to be low income housing. I feel these tenants treated the property with disrespect leaving trash in the hallways, on ledges, and even right in front of your doorstep. It felt worse than living in community dorms, at times even unsafe.

The complaints are numerous and the only thing I can say or do is to highly reccomend to anyone who is interested in this property to look elsewhere. Post for us has been the complete opposite of what we experienced at Uptown Square. Good luck in your hunting.
