Convenience but a work in progress PART 2

overall it is a nice place to stay please be cognitive of the unscrupulous tenants who live there. It is open to low income applicants(only a small percentage) but I have never noticed anything blatant or out of the ordinary since I've stayed (and its been a year)...If you live by the pool (sorry-- the echo'y noise during the summer months is to be expected) The construction of the condos (which i live very close to) is taxing but is temporary and is to be expected. I have been a bit disappointed with the clubroom access (which is really nice) and the "internet cafe" it used to be 24 hours now it's only available until 10pm. My personal experience with the apartment itself is one of agreement with the others that have posted comments. I have had my neighbors washing machine leak water into my building which had done some damage to the wall itself but when I reported the problem it was fixed in a timely manner. (the apartment has a website log-on which you can obtain -- maintenance seems to respond quickly to online requests) I had no problem with getting keys or access to the mailbox but I have heard past complaints of the cards not working. (I must stress that the parking is somewhat cumbersome because it is access controlled but the exit guards are always up allowing anyone to park at anytime) PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE CLUB GO-ERS HEADING TO AND LEAVING THE LOTUS LOUNGE TOWARDS THE END OF THE WEEK. I must agree with the paper thin walls (Ive heard numerous arguments followed by late nite make-ups lol...it is probably better if you live on the top preferably with a living space that is near the end of the hall where you are not between two other tenants. The leasing staff is satisfactory but i do agree you need to stick with one leasing person and make them stick to the offers that were originally given to you. Overall I am ok with the complex. I think that building 1 is a bit more quiet and less hectic than building 2 and 3. Please keep in mind that when they (the leasing office staff) answers the phone in the office they say "We define URBAN living at Uptown Square"...if you are looking for a luxury apartment with all the "BELL AND WHISTLES" then you may not want to consider staying here.
