With a staff who may or may not actually be at work during normal business hours (much less the 10am-6pm when they are *supposed* to be at work, it's a small wonder that this place keeps such high leasing rates.
While the location next to the Lindbergh MARTA station is fantastic, the frequent noise near the poolside rooms, dog poop in the hallway, and trash in stairwells indicate that many residents here lack common courtesy (or self-respect), and that the management is absentee in the worst possible way. A better management team would be ON TOP of these problems, and would not hesitate to post flyers to encourage residents to clean up their act. (For what it's worth, I'm not sure if these problems are attributable to the many young spoiled college kids, the Section 8 voucher recipients, or maybe individuals altogether- but it does not reflect well on management.)
Further, if you call the main # listed for Uptown Square, the person picking up won't be in the actual Uptown Square leasing office. Oh no, they'll be at the Dawson Co. offices, which are MILES away.
Congratulations to both companies for creating one of the most over-publicized, and under-managed apartments in Atlanta. Uptown Square represents the WORST kind of absentee management, and will never achieve anything close to the success of Post Properties, who, in my experience of living at two different Post apartment complexes, offer excellent and caring service in every possible way.

I live in Uptown Square as well and I completely agree. The dissatisfied Tenants here need to come together and get management's attention!
