For the people who said they've never seen bugs, you guys must be blind. I keep my apartment clean as an effort not to attract unwanted pests, but that doesn't help. I have seen every kind of bug known to man. Bugs are everywhere and not they are not just waterbugs they are HUGE cockraoches. The gates hardly ever work. I recently reported an issue with my stove not working. Someone came in and supposedly fixed it but it still didn't work. So I called the leasing office and they said they'd send the guy back out, but no one ever came so I ended up fixing it myself. I actually ended up fixing a lot of things on my own. One night I came home to find a freaking squirrel in my apartment. No, I didn't leave any windows or doors open. It turns out there was a whole in my kitchen it probably came in. I will admit mainetenence did do a good job with the squirrel situation. And it really depends on the unit you are staying in, but in my case parking is bad. You can only get a good spot before 5:00. There are a few pluses about the Veranda. The leasing staff is very friendly, everyone knows your name. The aparments are a good price and are pretty large. Ummm, that's about it. Overall the cons outweigh the pros. I don't recommend this place at all.
