Well one week in and I have lots of good things to report.. The manager is great, the apartments are very quiet at night,everyone I have met has been very sweet.
and the maintenance staff is quick, and efficient..
On the negative side.. the apartmets are old.. all the doors stick, I have a hard time opening the sliding back doors,Ive already has the kitchen sink stop up, and the toilets seem to be leaking and running often,, of course the maintenance is going to work on that right now. And according to the manager, I am the only resident in the building who has reported an infestation of roaches.. but at least the manager has had the exterminator out already to handle it..
so one week in and Im still overall happy with my choice to live here..

5/16/2008: Well here is an update: I have almost completely gotten rid of the roaches, Ive only seen one in the last 2 weeks.. partly due to the pest control guy they sent, but mostly due to me duck taping all the holes and gaps under the cabinets and behind the appliances.
I still really like the apartments overall.. still really quiet, my neighbors are great. The maintenance staff is very responsive. and the complex is kept clean and the landscaping is very nice.

I moved here 1 month ago. My apartment was previously occupied by some pretty disgusting people. Although the carpeting and tile was replaced throughout, it still smelled terribly in here. After 2 weeks of the worst asthma attacks and allergy symptoms of my life, I opened the air vent to see if that was what was causing my breathing problems to worsen. The dust, grime and filth built up inside the AC unit was approximately 1 inch thick. I paid $250 to have professionals clean the air ducts and AC system in my apartment, and the technician that cleaned it said that it looked like it had NEVER been cleaned. My asthma has been under normal control since the day I had it cleaned. The filter had been changed prior to my moving in, but the dust and dirt collection was ignored. I've had doors coming off their hinges and a now inherited nasty cockroach problem. I would NEVER recommend this complex to my friends...only to my enemies.
