I moved to the Villages at Carver in August, and I wanted to break my lease in September. The leasing staff must have no training because whenever we asked about our lease while are agent was drawing it up she would respond with, "Let me ask my manager" in a thick accent. She then proceeded to draw our lease up the day before we moved after we had to remind her that we were moving in the next day. We also were told we would pay 990 for our apartment throughout the entire leasing process, but since we are in the 1600 building we pay 1010, why, no one knows. She barely gave us a walk through and as soon as she left we had a terrible roach problem. It took them 5 months to fix the lights in the breezeway after we reported it to our leasing officer the day we moved in. Our neighbors are from hell. There are probably 100 kids who play in our parking lot which is always full of guest who come in through our always broken gate. The people above my apartment have too many children who stay up all night stomping while the parents play Marvin Gaye so loud I can hear it in my bedroom and kitchen. And when we thought nothing else could go wrong, we acquired new pets...Mice. The maintenance staff just plugged the holes with steel wool (as if the mice would not just chew more holes in the wall). Just to give you an overview, the leasing staff sucks, the maintenance men are not given enough means to fix our problems, the younger maintenance staff as well as your 14 year old neighbors will try to hit on you, the management sucks, and the area is horrible. Please do not waste your money on the villages in the ghetto.

This is so true. When I moved over to these apartments the assistant manager lied to me about my lease. They said if you want to move into a bigger apartment then you will be breaking your lease. Security does not uphold the rules. There are so many alcoholics walking around as well as people hanging out in the gazebo area. The security system won't work if you have your phone through Comcast. You have to pay for certain things that maintenance do in your apartment. You have to buy your own lock for the storage room. If there was different management, I think, they would be okay to live in but the women in there right now do not know their jobs and they are running that office like a used car dealership.
