I loved the apartment when I found it. My apartment was right on the lake, very private lotsa trees. I thought it was great and I loved the Vinings area. When I moved in all of my neighbors were great too. But in afew months all of them had moved and new not so wonderful people started moving in.
The first month I lived there I had maitnence in and out of my apt every day. Three months later my ceiling colapsed in my bathroom. Maitnence took apart my neighbors shower in order to fix the problem leaving a hole from my shower into their bathroom for over a month. My neighbors had to use my apartment to shower in for that months time, its a good thing we were friends cause if I had a perv upstairs that ---- wouldent fly.
But, first off becareful for the mold. The apartments in building 7 in Lake are fill of it. If you peel off a piece of wall paper in the bathroom the wall will be covered. And then there is the mold in the walls and ceiling that you cant really see. The maintenence is compleatly incompitent of fixing anything. ------ is a good guy, but the other ones Id be carefull of. ------ lives in the complex and understands your issues. The mold is a big health problem though. ------ said it wasnt toxic, but I was sick allot when I lived there and had to use my inhailer all the time. There was an elderly woman in my building that got to break her lease ealry due to perminant damage to get lugs cause by the mold. She had to get a doctors orders to allow the woods to let here out of here lease. I have before and after pictures of an apartment in my building that flooded and and grew mold over all the walls after mgmt lat it sit for 6 months that way. They painted and put new carpet in and re rented the apt with out taking care of the mold, just covering it up. A quote from ------ before she got transfered and I moved out was " The only way to fix the problem of mold was to tear down the whole complex and re build. So instead they just cover it up with paint and keep letting it grow and re covering it with paint.---- the new manager isnt much better. They are great liers and good at temporarly covering stuff up but they never take care of the problem.
