I have lived here for almost a year and cannot wait to move out!!!!! The staff has been nothing but rude, unknowledgable and unhelpful since the day I moved in. There are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many bugs in my apartment I cannot even explain!!! I have read reviews before and thought, "It couldn't be that bad," but OH NO!! This complex really is THAT BAD!!!!!!!!! The "renovations" that were done were done cutting every corner they could think of. The "new" stand alone shower leaks every time you use it, everything else has just been thrown together as well. Please, do yourself a favor and DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!!

Someone who currently resides on the property told me to come by and check out an apartment there. He's a nice guy and works part-time on the property so he gets special treatment. He claims the community is great. Well after reading all the horrible reviews, there is no way in this life time that I'd even think about stepping foot inside. I'm so appalled by the reviews I have half of mind to contact all of the local TV news media and see if anyone has an interest in following up on the slum-like deplorable conditions of this complex. Since I'm not a resident nor ever been, I can't dish the inside dirt. As a suggestion, you should forward this web link to all the folks in the media and tell them to check into this. (you can find their contact info and email addresses on-line on the TV stations' website). Seriously though, Vinings is suppose to be an inviting community with an upstanding reputation. The Woods at Overlook community doesn't fit the bill and the folks that manage this property should be held accountable and address these issues in the most embarrassing way possible... in public. Your review was well put and well worded, so why not take it to the next level and get some satisfaction if at all possible. What do you have to lose? Go for it and know current and future residents will appreciate it.
