When I moved in a few years ago, it's a quite nice complex. Although the building is old, the people living here were mostly young professionals and college students. But now it's becoming a dump. The new management tries to improve the look by renovating the units, but the type of people living here has gone from ok to scary. To give you a couple of examples:

1. They removed the individual dumpsters in front of each building and put up a big one in a central location. One day while playing tennis, I noticed that the big trash can on the tennis court for drink bottles and tennis ball cans has been filled with household garbage which had been fermenting and smelled awful. The central dumpster is only 50 feet away from the tennis court and apparently some people have been too lazy to walk that 50 feet.

2. Some people didn't pick up after their dogs. After learned it the hard way, now I won't walk on the lawn. At one time, my friends and I had to clean up 4 piles of dog ---- on the tennis court before we could play.

3. We never had people hanging around the complex in daytime during workdays. Now it has becoming a common sight. It's starting to look like downtown Atlanta at evening time if you know what I mean.

4. A friend of mine is also living in this complex. Last week, someone used his credit card to order a big plasma TV. UPS delivered it to the leasing office since he's not at home. The same night, someone broke into the leasing office and the TV was gone. Apparently someone in this complex did it. Luckily, it's delivered to the leasing office instead of his home. Otherwise, it would be his apartment that got break in.


Overall, location is convenient. Management is ok, although they always try to raise my rent every time I renew. But I am moving out as soon as I can, so is my friend.
