Moved in, Feb 3, 2001. Since then, I've lived here with little to no problems, until of course they changed management and decided to make some "improvements". New appliances, new patio doors, light fixtures, etc etc. Initially I was put off by the changes, but now that I've lived here for a year after the changes, things are setteling down.

Roaches' yes, there are some, but once you inform the management, they'll mark your building for a spraying, and they're gone for another few months. What do you want' You live next to the river, and the area is heavily wooded!

I will say that the staff at the leasing office aren't the brightest. But their managers are sharp. I never deal with the lackies, always go to the head guys.

The renovated exercise room is a great plus! I was going to get a membership at the local gym, but since they replaced all of the broken equipment, renovated the area, and the like, it's much nicer to go.

The use of Minol as the gas/water biller is a little annoying. They're pretty much 3rd rate, but they may change it. Some people say their rates have gone up. If they have, they need to contact Minol to fix that. We had communal gas bills, and individual water bills before. If you conbine the costs, it equals the same rate.

In the 5 years I'e been here, they haven't raised my rent since.

I read somebody complaining about loud rap music. Probably was me :-) sorry! Most of the neighbors are nice and friendly. Then there are the ones who are there just for 6 months. They're nto so nice. Some other people have said something about the "Quality of people" in the compelx' What do you want' This is America! We have all different people here. Whoever said that must have been a raceist.

A slight drawback as well is the maintenance crew. Most are from different contries. But they're generally pleasent and attentive to your needs. I DID have an issue this week with my faucet breaking (my fault). I bought a replacement and asked them to swap it out. Didn't hear anything from anybody for a few days. By then I had done the change myself.

My new upstairs neighbor (last 3 months new) is rather loud on the footfalls. I think he stomps a lot. The girl who lived there before him was quiet as a mouse, except for the music, but I can't complain about that, I like loud music too.

All in all, this is my first apartment, and it's my home.
