An Honest Opinion... PLEASE READ if you are considering moving here. (Especially Females)

First let me start by saying that literally the ONLY thing this place has going for it, is that it is in a good location relative to shopping, entertainment, etc. in this area. If that is your only priority in a home and you are willing to overlook a few things (which I'll get to), then this is definitely the place for you. Also they keep it fairly clean and it's pretty quite for the most part.

On to the things that have me looking forward to my lease termination date like it's Christmas coming.

Pests
Yes, this place has lots of them. Let's call a spade a spade, by pests I mean Roaches, Spiders, and all sorts of other random bugs that manage to get into my apartment. The person in the previous post who's been here since May does not have a clue, or maybe they're more tolerant of the bugs. But I am not. The bug problem here is really atrocious. It's amazingly bad. The exterminators will come and spray and you will still see roaches the next week. I should have known when I moved in but the place was so nice looking I overlooked it. My first week here there were roaches coming out of the dishwasher, yes, the dishwasher. I had to run it several times just to scald them all out of there. This place is very poorly put together when it comes to insulation from pets and from the cold weather.

Aesthetics
Everything that previous persons have commented about relating to the paper thin walls and floors is true.

Management and Maintenance.
These are two areas where you will get no satisfaction but plenty of frustration. Management is incompetent point blank. About a month back I paid my rent, on time as usual. And a few days later I get a notice saying that the rent is late and that they are assessing all kinds of fees and will start the eviction process shortly. Well this is because the imbeciles in the office lost my check. I didn't get a receipt because I never do and I figured how hard is it to mark someone's rent as paid and hold on to the check. Well anyway I had to contact the bank to stop the check they lost and write them another one. If you move here, Make SURE you get your receipt every time. Also speaking of maintenance... They try to only come when you are not at home for some reason. You can be at home all day and as soon as you leave for 30 minutes to run an errand, they are in your house and out and all you'll see is a note that they were there, left on your table. Why are they afraid to knock on the door and fix the problem while you are there' I think that's kind of shady and I speak more on maintenance or the leasing office coming into your home unannounced.

Maintenance - they don't fix anything. It's not that they don't try. They just don't know how. I have had a leaking sink for almost a year now. I have called them at least 4-5 times about it and they have tinkered with it but and have made up all sorts of excuses as to why it leaks (none of which I care about - they should just fix the damn sink) but have never resolved the problem. Also to add to their incompetence and lack of common sense, just today I was in the shower and the water suddenly turns off. I call the leasing office to find out what the hell, and they tell me maintenance had to fix a leak in another building, so they turned the water off in mine. Go figure. Anyway there was no announcement, no call, no nothing. The water has been off for more than twice the amount of time they estimated already. These are some of the little annoyances that will drive you absolutely batshit if you were to move here.

Neighbors.
They neighbors are good people in the complex. No problems there.

Ok this section is related to the title where I said women should especially read this posting before considering moving to this apartment complex. Several months back I was traveling outside of Atlanta for work and my wife called me to ask whether I had left a piece of card board in the living room with a printing "Eggs: This side up" on it. I told her I hadn't and she said she was certain she would have noticed it if was there when I left (this must have been the middle of the week, maybe Wednesday). Amway, I couldn't believe what she was talking about because I know I hadn't left piece of cardboard in the living room that looked like how she described. I had her send me a picture, and of course I had never seen it before and I certainly wasn't the one who left it. So let me tell you what this apartment company does. Clearly they come into your apartment while you are not at home. This time they happened to leave some evidence behind. There was no notice mind you that said that they needed to inspect our apartment. Just a piece of cardboard box leaning up against our coffee table in the living room signaling that someone had been in our apartment unannounced. Think about how that makes you feel to discover that someone comes into your home while you are away whenever they feel like it. My main concern however was for my wife. Who's to say that they maintenance guys would not try to come into hour home at night while I'm away at work and do something to her. I don't need to describe what that could be as all one needs to do is turn on the news to see the world is a crazy place. So now whenever I m not at home I make sure she goes to bed with a chair under our front door to prevent anything like that from happening. Talk about feeling VIOLATED. They sure do a good job of that around here. Anyway we decided not to mention it to the leasing office because we had a situation with them before with some maintenance men damaging one of our vehicles with a ladder and their response was did we have any evidence to prove it was them' How do we know' They just don't care and it's obvious. Therefore we didn't bother to mention it to them because they would have been right... we had no proof except for the box they accidentally left as evidence and there was no way to prove who left it there except to say the apartment wasn't broken into and neither my wife or I are crazy, so you do the math.

Price.
With all that being said... this place is definately not worth the price we're paying for it.
