I lived at the Vinings at River Parkway for nearly four years and have to say the change in management has been horrible. I was happy with the location and original price, but the latest management team, Laramar, has been not only rude but terribly incompetent and downright negligent, as well as hiked up rent considerably. I am a dog lover and am alarmed by the number of loose dogs roaming the complex because it's not safe for the dogs, leaves a big mess and isn't safe for people when there are loose dogs that attack, including pit bulls. I reported the loose dogs numerous times, even giving the Leasing Office the apartment numbers of the offenders, and each time they promised to do something but they did nothing - no flyer, no phone calls, nothing. The chaos continued and one time my boyfriend was chased by a pack of three loose dogs. The worst was when I got attacked by my neighbor's loose dog. (I had complained about these irresponsible, loud neighbors who are strippers with kids that spend more time partying with random guys at all hours of the night than being moms yet the Leasing Office did nothing). The neighbors had their door wide open as their dog attacked me and as I screamed while getting attacked, they did nothing and were nowhere to be found! After I washed the wound and returned to find out if the dog had its shots, they wouldn't answer the door! The police and animal control had to get involved and the Leasing Office was not only rude but downright mean to me about the whole incident. It was terrible negligence on their part to get so many complaints about someone and not do a thing and then when someone gets attacked, they blame them! This place has really gone downhill and they let in any trash that will pay the rent. I am so glad I escaped and will tell everyone I know what a dump this place is. It's not worth the price! They will give you a huge rent hike after the first year! And you may be mauled by loose dogs! You can find much better locations in Vinings for the price.
