I moved here in July 2009 and have been extremely pleased with the transition. I moved from Fayetteville and after enduring a horrendous daily commute, I LOVE that I am right next to 75 and 285 and also that I have an almost traffic free ten minute commute to midtown. Also, the supermarket is directly across the street, and practically every convenience (i.e. mall, movie theater, restaurants, car mechanics, post office, gym, bookstores) is located somewhere on Cumberland Parkway or Northside Drive (the streets on which the apartment complex is located).

I moved from a large house so space was a huge priority for me. Fortunately, my three bedroom apartment is HUGE (over 1550 square feet) with FIVE closets, a pantry and a nice size patio. My bedroom has a large walk-in closet and another closet; one of the other bedrooms also has two closets. The three bedroom also has a big laundry room (so big that in my apartment it houses a large cage for my two pet rodents, a dog bed, and still leaves enough space for me to move around).

I have had a couple of minor complaints (i.e. the apartment wasn't turned over very well), but the management and maintenaince have been very responsive. What I love about these older apartments is the space you get for the price. If you move at the right time of year you can get a three bedroom apartment for under a grand (unfortunately my timing wasn't quite that good).

My young daughter especially loves the two pools and the tennis courts.
