Good Points and Bad Points From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/24/2003 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002   I lived at the Palisades for a year with a roommate. We were both in college, so the rent was very reasonable for the area. The floorplan was enormous for what we were paying. I was at school in Atlanta, and she was in school in Alpharetta, and we found the complex convenient to both areas. However, shortly after we moved in, the management changed and we found that maintenence was uncooperative and unresponsive. I think that the water bills we got (that went through the management) were way to high for the amount of water we were using. Also, about two months after we moved in, my roommate's car was broken into and her stereo was stolen. It is supposed to be a "gated community" but the gates were always broken, so that's why someone was able to come in off the street and break into her car. In all, I think Palisades was a pretty good deal for what you are paying, but not without drawbacks.
