Have not experienced what others are complaining about...

I've recently moved in, have been here less than a month, and after reading the reviews, was kind of afraid. However, I have been pleasantly surprised.
They recarpeted my apartment before I moved in. It was clean, bright spacious, exactly as I asked for and expected. The staff, especially Brian, is very courteous, very helpful, and I have spoken with Donna a few times. Every need that I have brought up has been taken care of with speed and professionalism. It's all about how you play the game, you know' Can't go down there complaining just because.
I have NO plumbing problems. Everything works well... I can't understand the texture of the kitchen countertops but that is a design issue, I guess...
Two of my neighbors came and introduced themselves to me, because this building is pretty friendly, they all know each other and watch over each other. THe men say hello, and excuse me, or nod in passing. The halls are clean, there are no smells... once I thought I smelled pot in the parking lot but never again since.
In any large complex, you are going to have your troublemakers and lazy employees... but I have lived in ALOT of apartments and I could tell horror stories far worse than someone being late to fix something...how about a sewer backing up into your kitchen every 3 months!'!'
In all I am very happy about living here. And about the rent due date...it's not a surprise. It's due by close of business on the 2nd of every month. You have 30 days to come up with it. In my opinion, that keeps out people who might otherwise skip out on the rent, making it higher for the rest of us.
