This apartment complex changes management so much they do not know what's going on within their own complex. The walls are painted what I like to call "nicotine white", which isn't really white or off-white. I live in a "family" building, and my husband and I are the only ones in our building who do not smoke illigal substances. I would not raise a family here since I can sit in my living room, look out the sliding glass door/window, and watch drug deals going down. Every spring/summer the A/C needs fixed, including this year despite receiving a NEW A/C UNIT at the end of last summer!
Someone also thought it would be fun to throw a rock through my spare bedroom window at 1am, I am assuming they were aiming at the window above mine since they were up partying all night.
Speaking of the people above me... even though the three girls are the cutest daintiest girls, they sound like sumo wrestlers up there night and day, yes 3 am is no exception. I have complained numerous times to the office staff to no avail. I can hear their conversations through the air vents and can also hear my neighbors next to me arguing with their girlfriends... word for word.
Also, my TUB drain KNOCKS. Yes, you read that correctly. I turn in one maintenance request after another and they must think I am joking. But it is loud and annoying when I am trying to sleep.
We do pay a great price for a 3 bedroom, but are looking for a new place to move since I am sick of being known as the girl from the ghetto. No one wants to come and visit me because of my scary federal probation neighbors who deal drugs and don't even try to hide it (smoking their stuff right outside our building with kids running around them).
