I read a lot of the reviews and a lot of them are TRUE...I loved living here the year I was here. Probrably bc I was ONLY HERE for about 5 months out of the year bc of deployments to Kuwait..they do seem to be a bit ghetto though...anyways...when moved I left the place in great condition...except for the carpet in my childrens bedroom. All that being said, they charged me for having to repaint the kitchen AND bathrooms saying I painted them yellow...........YELLOW....are you serious''''Who paints a kitchen and bathroom YELLOW! They took $40 from my deposit saying they had to put 2 coats of paint to cover it up. I WAS FURIOUS...not only did they come in and take over my kitchen for a week (my dishwasher was leaking into the apt. below from a busted pipe)....taped it up with plastic and everything...they did a piss poor job of putting it back 2gether...I complained about a whole in the master bath wall that NEVER got fixed...and my guest bathroom was never used bc I complained about the mole in the ceiling bc the people ABOVE me were leaking into my bathroom everytime they showered...that they did fix and once the caulk dried they were supposed to come in the next day and paint it.......never did...but they're charging me......yeah.....Right... needless to say, I used to love this place until I moved out. Everything they were SUPPOSED to do....they charge YOU for once you leave. I also had a neighbor...who is still there...we had the same apartment (Buckhead)...I was getting charged $810/mth...he only paid $760...not only that...when my year lease was about to be up...they sent me a letter saying the next year was going to be $820....his didn't budge...for tenants who are never late on rent, never had complaints, you repay them by raising their rent...why, when the apts' next door are much more reasonbly priced...I enjoyed the staff at Walton River....but the Walton Communities office....they suck!!! Be Wise and Shop around...

I totally agree with you on he raising teh rent for people who always pay on time and in advance... I was here for two years when it was The Pallisades before Walton Communities took over. The Pallisades never raised their prices.
