I have never experienced the terrible things these people commented about. First of all, I live on the ground floor... my apartment has never flooded. Secondly, I feel very safe here! I am a college age female who gets home past dark EVERY night from work or school and I am extremely comfortable walking to my apartment door alone! Riverbend is a well-lit area and the people around here are friendly. Perhaps the others who commented are not accustomed to living in an area with such great diversity. There are singles, families, college students, married couples, professionals... and all the people I've met are very nice. And to the people who think "the police are here all the time..." THEY LIVE HERE. There are two officers who live in this community. In addition, the office staff has always been very attentive whenever I have needed anything... and please folks, don't expect them to cut you a break when you can't pay your bills! They are running a business here! As long as you pay on time, things are good. Plus, some of the people who work in the leasing office live here as well.. that says a lot. As for the Cable... I don't require high-tech internet connections or a million tv channels so media works is fine with me. In fact, my internet works a lot better than it did when I had Comcast at my old apartment in Atlanta.
Overall, I enjoy living here a million times more than I did when I was downtown. I've made lots of friends and I'm very comfortable.

i completely agree! i am also a young college age girl on the ground floor. i have never seen anything that would make me question my safety. Atlanta is a very diverse place and riverbend has a lot of younger tennants that will be up late at night, sit and chat in the parking lots and hang outside. this does not mean that you are in danger, this means that your neighbors like the fresh air...

FYI, almost all apartment complexes provide an apartment to the manager, and many provide apartments at reduced cost or free to police, especially when they are large and could use their presence.
