I wish I had read these comments before moving in. I signed a lease with Riverbend on January 1st and had planned on moving in physically by the end of the month. On the 11th I moved the remainder of my things in the apartment only to find everything I own GONE the very next day because of a slip up with the management. The mistaked my apartment with one that was supposed to be vacant and THREW OUT ALL OF MY STUFF...then they gave me the run around about the entire situation the next day...Bullshitters...I'm about to sue them. don't move here

Yes, one of the bad things about living in Georgia as opposed to a lot of other states is that no matter where you rent or lease, within three days of filing for your eviction they can throw ALL of your belongings LITERALLY out on the street! Thank God that never happened to me, but many times I've seen people stop their cars next to someone's personal belongings and steal them. In some cases people have been out of town, and not even know their furniture, appliances, etc. are GONE, and not always due to their fault. Georgia law should be changed in this regard.
