Waterford Place

Moved into our apartment and within minutes we had issues with our showers and toilets. The showerhead didn't work in one bathroom and the toilet overflowed. Plunged toilet, flush again, continued to overflow. 2nd bath within 5 minutes of showering, my downstairs neighbor was being flooded by my shower. I look up at my ceiling and I have a bulge in my ceiling where water has leaked from my upstairs neighbor. This bulge hanging down, looking like it would bust any second was about 6 inches across both ways. We had rain the weekend we moved in as well, 4 of our windows leaked from the wall, not the window, but the wall. Leaking had to be cleaned up with 3 large bath towels. Our cold water to our washer, only a small amount trickles out. Garbage disposal makes an awful noise, like there is glass in it. My bathroom door was broken as well.
My biggest issue is that they should have checked all of this before we moved in. They are bringing in a contractor to look at the work needing to be done and I am worried that we will either have to vacate while that is being taken care of or suffer through any major repairs. The staff is friendly but doesn't understand that this is a timely manner. The maintenance came once so far and this is the 4th day in the apartment. The one thing that was suppose to be fixed was only partially fixed. Just enough for my shower to function and not drowned my neighbor below.
The apartments are spacious, seems like neighbors are alright, I haven't had a problem with noise, outside of what the noise level is of most apartments. For the price, it is a steal.
Before you move-in, do a complete walk-through of the actual apartment you will be renting. Flush toilets, run shower and bath for a few minutes, sinks and check ceilings and windows for leaking and water damage.
