Parking - Beware of the fact the leasing agent won't tell you in advance that some apts only get one assigned parking spot and others get two or more even if they don't need them. You'll be told there's plenty of visitor parking. I think they have 12 visitor spots altogether in both parking lots for a community with over 250 units. In a town like Atlanta where everyone drives that's kind of ridiculous. So, if you're living with someone or have someone visiting, good luck trying to find a parking spot (especially on the weekends). There are plenty of free spots but the management staff won't assign them. Thus, leaving people like me getting really frustrated and stuck with parking on the street somewhere if I'm lucky.

Noise - The noise isn't really the bad. If you're sensitive to noise then you should definitely not get a pool view apartment (it gets really LOUD). Also, the walls don't block all the sounds of the neighbors, one can definitely here the neighbors walking around upstairs and occasionally you'll hear someone blast the bass on their speakers.

Grounds & Construction - This place looks nice from far but as you get closer you can tell it's falling apart. It's a pretty old place and has run through several management companies. Depending on which building and floor you live your hallway could smell really badly of trash due the the location of the trash chutes. The carpets in the hallway are old, stained and dirty. The decor on the walls of the hallway is pretty nice and the landscaping isn't bad either.

Safety - I have yet to experience a safety issue here. It's reassuring to know there's a courtesy officer on site.

Maintenance - The maintenance staff is pretty prompt but it seems like they try to cover up the problem rather than fix it. They have to come 4 times to fix one issue (that's if they don't say "sorry that's just like that"). Otherwise, the maintenance people are very friendly.

Staff - The property manager seems nice and professional, however, one particular member of her staff has bit of an attitude problem. You'll figure out which one as soon as you get there. Puts on a nice facade at first but is a true b**** inside. Try not to deal with her she WILL screw you.

Overall - The place is nice, however, the management team really needs to do something about the parking situation and the staff member with the attitude problem. Otherwise, if you're in your mid-20s this is a great place to live since there are many others that live here who are in a same age group.

Dear Anonymous, While I understand that you have several concerns regarding our community, I am happy to hear that you do still feel that overall Westminster at Buckhead is a nice community to call home. Westminster at Buckhead was built in 1999 and consists of 224 apartments. We understand that visitor parking can certainly be sparse especially during evening hours and weekends, there are 32 visitor parking spaces in the community as well as parking on Pharr Court and in front of the leasing office after hours. With our excellent Buckhead location, we unfortunately do not have an endless amount of land to expand parking. We make it a point of informing every prospect that visits our community of the number of parking spaces that will be assigned with their apartment. We even have some residents that leased larger apartments than originally planned so that they would have an additional space. The carpet in the hallways was replaced in 2008. We schedule this carpet to be cleaned twice per year in an effort to keep it clean and the hallways fresh. If you have a specific problem in your hallway just let us know and we will be more than happy to have it spot cleaned. It is true that while living in an apartment you may at times hear your neighbors. While I'm sure you're not bothered by noises caused by your neighbors everyday life, you very well may be bothered if someone decides to turn the volume of their music up. If this situation occurs, please feel free to contact our Courtesy Officer who is on call 24 hours per day to address parking and noise complaints. Our maintenance and managment staff strive daily to offer a superior level of customer service to each and every resident, prospect and vendor. I would have to agree with most of the original review. I moved in the complex just a few months and have experienced less than perfect customer service from a particular "Used Car Salesperson". I'm in total agreeement regarding the Property Manager's professionalism. She is very professional and strives to make this a nice place to live. She can't control all that is around her. The courtsey officer is non-exisistent. Noise can be horrible, especially near the pool. Where's the cortsey officer? Probably sleeping off a hangover. The Mainance staff is overwelmed w/ cleaning up from slobs and vistors to the pool and community. I feel that people within the complex should respect where they live and make the effort to keep things clean. FYI there should be garbage cans placed by every entrance, which there is not. The Hallway where the trash compactor smells like death. I feel that Maintenance is under staffed and the complex is only focused on bringing in new tenants and not caring for current ones.

Parking is a HUGE problem, the gym is extremely small and the machines break down frequently, the hallways smell bad and stuffy, and neighbors can get pretty loud because of the thin walls. Otherwise, this place is great for the money. The property manager is great, some apartments have great views of the woods, the pool is nice and has a great open air gas grill, the . All in all I like living here I just avoid the one two-faced leasing agent that works here.

I'm morbidly curious to know who the b**** is in the office that will "screw you". I'm moving into this complex next month and I'm stressing a bit over these reviews I'm reading. I have spoken with all of the people in the office and everyone seems super nice--almost too nice. But I just chalked that up to them just doing their jobs. At any rate, I could use some authentic insight and tips from real residents who have lived there for a while...
