I have been living in West Wood Glen for almost 10yrs now and in the beginning everything was good. I had no problems but that quickly changed after Angela (the best leasing lady in town) died. I have had situations where I paid my rent and they claim they never got it. I went to the office and Meriline the leasing manager was just as baffaled as I was because I always pay my rent on time. I called the moneygram to trace the money gram and a few days later it ended up in my mailbox. One day I was strap for cash and I told them that the rent would be a day late and I would include the $50 late fee. I did that and the next month a security officer was at my door claiming I owe them two months rent. I was heated up at that point. What the hell are they doing over there. I was upset at this point and I took half a day off to go to the office again Meriline was very nice and they never did tell me if they got it or not. In November I was going out of town for a family emergency. I asked them can I pay the rent late. That would be the 2nd time in 10yrs I'd be paying my rent late. I agreed to pay $735 by the 15th. On the night of the 17th I droped two money orders in the night box now today I'm coming home to find a letter on my door saying I have to appear in court. What do I do'...I've already giving them their money. I'm going to the office today to talk to the leasing manager. I'm also going to type a notice and post it on the board asking if I'm the only one this has happened to and what are we going to do to avoid that from happening again. I really love that apartment complex and the manager is pretty cool but that can't keep happening. My blood pressure can't take another one of this.
