Break in on X-mas day , locked outside apartment for 2 days !! From: StuckInGables Date posted: 12/27/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   I am presently a tenant in Wildwood Gables. I have always been a huge fan of Gables residential communities and have been living in various Gables communities ever since I started renting. The management for this particular Gables community used to be really considerate and was one of the reasons for my shifting to this Gables community from another Gables community. But today I was the unfortunate victim of racial discrimination and verbal abuse by a WildWood Gables Associate. Someone tried to break into my apartment the day before X-mas,luckily they were unable to do so but they took out the front door knb hence I was left stranded outside my own apartment for more than 24 hours. Me and my husband called Gables emergency line left a message for them to repair our door knob so that we can get inside our apartment and decided to spend X-mas night at some friend's house . We came back after about 40 hours of reporting the incident but no repairs were done to the door. When we went to the Gables management office two of the associates and one repair man abused us and told us to leave the management office and they don't want to discuss "such" incidents in front of potential future residents. We were asked to leave the office immediately and stand outside in sub-zero temperature instead of being offered a seat in office while someone unlocked the door. The associate just kept on saying 'just leave my office'.I wonder how she would have felt being locked outside her house on X-mas eve . I pray to God no one ever has to live in such conditions as we do in this community.
