I have lived in Wildwood Gables for two years and NEVER been late with my rent payment. This past month I was one day late (due to an unexpected trip out of town planned by my boyfriend who asked me to marry him!!!) Anyways, I explained my situation to the leasing office and they were not the least bit understanding. They did not even bother to look at my records to see that I had always paid on time. They told me that if they let one person get away with being late, then they would have to let everyone get away with it...that is a good motto if you plan to stick to it. Not even four months earlier, my fiance lived at Wildwood Gables and was late on his rent payment but they let it slide with him. Most likely because he is 6'4 and weighs 270 pounds. It wasn't hard for the "tough" guys at the leasing office to tell me that there was nothing that they could do, but they obviously weren't tough enough to tell that to my fiance. Overall, management sucks. There are definitely better places to live in the "vinings" area. I suggest looking around.

im a resident also and last i checked the U S postal service does still work, and you could have mailed in your rent since it kind of is your resonsabiblity to pay on time. sorry, i just don't understand why people get mad because they don't pay on time. if you don't pay your credit card on time you charge a late fee, and have you ever heard of Fair Housing, im prettys sure that could have been what the "tough" guy was refering to when he said he couldn't take your rent late. Just a thought.

yeah, I'm convinced now...bigjsdaddy HAS to work in the leasing office. He seems to personally involved in defending gables.

Wow, he surely is a jerk. Hey, bigjsdaddy, instead of starting all your posts with "i am a resident" try these instead: "I work here..." "i work for the man..." "i am being paid by wildwood gables to say nice things about them and..." "i am an --- and... "i am a narc..." It might be less misleading. However, thats kind of your reputation so go for it i guess.

We were late paying our rent to Wildwood Gables one month, we dropped it into the night drop after the office closed on the third, and the next day we called and asked politely if they could cut us some slack (to make the long story short). They gave us a one-time courtesy credit, no problems. Of course, we weren't coarse a-holes like Christin84 or b1tchslap2K, so that probably had a lot to do with it.
