I'm thinking about moving into Windmont within the next month and a half. the location would be perfect for me, and the staff has been really friendly and helpful. I've been tricked before and don't want to get tricked again. The amenities sound terrific, but I still have questions, such as: how much does the water, sewage, and trash bill usually run' And is maintence efficent and knowledgable' I want to make a really informed decision. Any one got some uselful advice'

I lived at Windmont back in 2006-2007. I was in building closest to the Kroger. The amenities are nice and the location is good, but you will hear the airplanes landing at the Peachtree Industrial Airport, less than a mile away. That was the main reason for my move from Windmont - it's all hours of the night and can be very loud. I had a washer/dryer in my 1 bedroom home and the bill was about $30 per month. I also had a tremendous ant problem and my apartment was spotless. I never had problems with roaches or other bugs - never saw hem at all in my apartment living on the top floor. If the noise from the planes and the ants are things you can deal with, Windmont isn't a bad choice at all.

Windmont is a pretty good place, and I know what a bad apartment is like, trust me... It's middle of the road, not fancy, but not a dump. The staff has always been helpful and attentive, IMO. Like the other post said, water/sewer/trash for a 1 bdrm is around $30. Unfortuntately, I had roach problems on the first day, but the staff was quick to respond and I have lived in peace for one year without any problems. You never know what type of neighbors you will get, but I haven't had any serious issues. Noisy folks in the parking lot can be annoying on the weekends, though.
