Water everywhere

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004
I moved in to this complex 7/2001 & moved out 35 days later in 8/2001. I wanted to be on the 1st floor, ground level. When I moved in my apartment was "Terrace Level." It was on the 1st floor on the back of the building & underground from the front of the building. This apartment felt too isolated and I didn't feel too safe. I moved in on a Saturday and on Monday morning when I woke up my washer connection had leaked and sprayed water everywhere all night. They came and took the padding out of the carpet and sucked up the water. 3 weeks later I asked them to come fix my carpet & padding, they said they'd do it by 6 pm that night. I went out of town for a long weekend (left on Thursday night) & returned on Tuesday night to find not only had they not fixed my carpet back, but the water heater had busted and the entire apartment was flooded. I paged maintenance at 8:30 PM and they finally showed up at 11:30 PM and wanted to suck up the water then!! I told them NO, come back in AM. They came back and cleaned up the water but everything was wet. Mold started to grow on the walls & 3 days later they brought in dehumidifiers. Office staff was polite & friendly. They just didn't take care of problems quickly enough. OH, they painted my front door & I had to leave for work so I had to open it up and leave. Evidently this made the painter angry and he apparently used his finger and wrote JERK in the wet paint. After all this in 1 month I got out of there as fast as I could!!!!! Don't go here unless you want problem after problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
