Right now, the property is ... problematic. By the time I left, my HVAC was intermittent at best, usually working for a week before just moving air without heating or cooling it first. (I suspect a freon leak, even after the outside unit was replaced.) There was a flooding problem in the apartment above mine, but the maintenance people who initially came out never thought to wonder about my apartment (which was drenched). The neighbors seemed to think that everyone liked their taste in music, since they shared it all the time from the parking lot. And several kids decided to scratch up my car after I asked them, perhaps too politely, to stop knocking on my door and running away.

On the other hand, maintenance seems to be getting somewhat more competent under the new supervisor; he was very quick about getting my flooding problem fixed, though admittedly part of the aftermath (the hall light, for one) lingered for months. The rent is dirt cheap, especially for the size, and I never actually heard anything from my neighbors above, behind, or to the side--except from the parking lot.

While I don't begrudge the place the year I spent there, and they've been really polite as I left, I'm just as happy to be out. Maybe now I can have some air conditioning in the Georgia summer.
