Yorke Downs Apartments

It could have been worse...BUT IT WASN'T GOOD From: junkyliam74@hotmail.com Date posted: 7/30/2003 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003   I chose Yorke Downs because the floorplans offered are very nice for the price you pay, especially considering the convenient location in south Buckhead. However, the office staff is far from competent, and the maintenance work left a lot to be desired. My air conditioner was broken for over six months (including two weeks of record high temperatures in Atlanta). I probably made at least 6-8 visits to the office before that was fixed. Someone broke into my apartment, and when I called the emergency maintenance line to get my window reparied, nobody would respond to the call, and I was not helped until the office opened the next day. Another thing to be wary of is the way they "repair" apartments between tenants. The carpet in my apartment was NOT cleaned before I moved in, and apparently the only thing they do to fix the rest of the apartment is just add another coat of paint to everything. Have you ever seen a painted sink' Also, don't be fooled by the model apartment they show you. The floorplan may be the same, but the condition of the apartments is MUCH worse.
