Considering Yorke Downs, as somewhere to live, is a huge mistake. The leasing consultants are careless, rude and disorganized. In addition, one particular leasing consultant,in my case, repeatedly gave me the run around, and she was just plain snobbish towards me. Keep in mind, this was after I put down $350 and assured her that I am a responsible tenant. She constantly lied to me, in reguards to my foster mother, and she constantly made unprofessional statments. In reguards to the property manager, she clearly exercised little to no control over what goes in the place and the business aspect of it. In reguards to the other leasing agents, there was another woman who was rude and who acted like my money wasn't green. She insulted my mental capacity, by asking/ making a rude statment. I don't know what the deal is with the women of York Downs, but it seems like they may have a serious inferiority complex, or maybe they are just not getting any. Anyway, I got fed up with the way that I was being treated, and I found a better place to stay. When I asked for my money back, the main consultant who was rude and lying on my foster mother, tried to get me to stay and work out something. However, I refused, and I am now living in a beautiful Buckhead high rise. If you are considering Yorke Downs, DON'T. IT IS A HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!!! I thought that all of the negative comments where just hype, but they are not. The apts are kind of crappy, anyway.
