Like having your car broken into'

Then Champions Pines is the place to be. Of the 5 months that I actually lived there before I broke my lease, I know of at least 3 different occasions where someone's car was broken into in the complex. One of those times was Christmas Eve, where not only my car and my girlfriend's car were broken into, but 3 other vehicles as well. We had called and stopped by the front office to report deficiencies with our apartment from the time we had moved in, and not one time did anyone stop by to fix anything. One night it was storming outside and we were sitting in the living room when we looked up in the corner where the ceiling meets the wall and noticed a big water spot that continued to grow over a few hours time period. For the price you pay you would think that the maintenance standards would be a little higher priority. I was sitting on the balcony one day and noticed that there was a wasp nest hanging over the doorway to the storage room. Its not the fact that there was a wasp nest out there, but that the wasp nest was painted over when they had painted the ceiling outside. How hard would it have been to knock it down before painting' And a friend of mine found out he was deploying to Iraq, and they still made him pay the next months rent, even though they tell you that you can break your lease if you get orders to deploy... Anyway, I wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone.

I agree with you this place is absolutely deplorable. The manager also likes to act like a resident and write fake reviews to boost the ratings like the next day after someone posts a honest review. People are allowed to have their opinions. We live in the USA and is our constitutional right to speak out and warn others. Lord knows, the manager wouldn't be honest in her dealings with the residents. Maybe if that was the case, she wouldn't have to come on here and act like she is a resident. She also asks maintenance and staff to write fake positive reviews as well. If you want to live with sex offenders and section 8- then this is your new home away from home :D

When I moved out of the apartment complex, I had already had issues with maintenance and with the office staff in general. I moved out 1 week before my lease was up to give me time to clean the apartment. Upon moving my stuff out, I know of at least 2 times that maintenance came into my apartment without notice even though I still had the apartment for the whole week. One time I noticed that lights were turned on that I know I shut off..(I was still paying electric) And another time there were fixtures missing from my apartment that they had apparently taken to put into someone else's apartment. Even though according to my lease the apartment was mine for another 5 days and I was responsible. I would not wish this community on my worst enemy.
