My fiance' and I lived here together in the year 2007 for about 7 months. We broke the lease because I was pregnant and we decided that we wanted to move back to Florida before our baby was born. Needless to say, I was SOOOO glad that we were moving out of this craphole.

We're are not dirty people by any means but our apartment was crawling with roaches. They were huge. It was so disgusting. Even when the maitenence man came in and put the roach killer peanut butter looking stuff around the place, it made no difference. Actually it was worse, because that's when they all wanted to come out. Ugh, it was so nasty. There were even roaches on the sidewalks and in the parking lots. Im tellin you, it was like a horror movie.

Other than that, we liked the layout of the apartment, and the people in the office were nice. We ran into a problem when we broke our lease though, so watch out if you plan on leaving before your lease is up. When we went to the office to work it all out so that we could move out early they wrote up a paper and said we only needed to pay $450 (close to that, i don't remember the exact amount) and we were done. Then after we moved we got a letter saying that we needed to pay about $1000 for breaking the lease. We wanted to avoid going to court and everything after just having a baby so we dealt with it and paid it. Then, after we paid off the $1000 they sent us to collections and tried to get more money out of us. Well, i sent them a not so pleasent email and it was all taken care of and we didn't have to pay out any more money.

So i warn you, dont move into this place unless you want to be paying rent a year later after you've already moved out and want to be living in an apartment infested with HUGE roaches.

I live in Florida, where I've seen many roaches/water bugs just because of the climate. But this was disgusting. They dont treat their lawn, so i'm guessing that's where the problem lies. Never have i seen anything like this.
