Well let me just say I am in the Army, and I rented this place online before I saw it. That being said, I had problems from the day I moved in. I was told that there was an exterior hose attachment I could use for car washing which is a big deal for me. When I got here they has cemented them all up so no one could use them. Also since I moved in, they started charging for water which was originally included in the rent, as well as raising the rates quite a bit. the actual area was nice when I first moved here esthetically. Since then the town has ripped all the trees out in the front, exposing a state highway and building a hideous cement wall. Additionally, this place is not safe. When I first moved here in 2006 there was a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Since the city has started encroaching, the low rent price has attracted drug dealers and other hoodlums that blast their bass in there cars all night long. The management has changed twice, and each change has been for the worse on the tenants behalf. maintenance is almost non existent at this point, 6 men for over 300 apartments. Requests have taken me from days to months for simple fix it jobs, especially plumbing. People leave trash everywhere and there is absolutely no lawn care beyond the main office. There used to be a few policemen that lived here and that kept crime at bay, but I have literally watched as this place went from an ok suburban community to an inner city Ghetto. Luckily i will be PCSing soon, so I wont have to deal anymore.

My final thought is that, especially if you have kids, You REALLLY don't want to live here

Quite honestly I think you are wrong. You need to get your facts straight before commenting on a community. If you didn't pay water at any point you need to check with the office to make sure you don't have an outstanding bill somewhere. They just changed the water in February and I think it is better being a flat rate than having a fluctuating bill every month. Besides, any place that tells you water is included in the rent is not telling the whole truth. If you read your lease you will notice that all communities break it up in your lease so that you see not all your money is going to your rent. They just tell you upfront what all the cost is seperately. As far as the cement wall I personally did not like the sound of traffic outside my window every night or having the fear that some drunk would come barreling off the road into the community. Trees don't stop everything!!! Also, get your story straight!!! are the rates to high for you to live here or are they low and attracting the wrong crowd...STICK WITH ONE STORY!! I personally think that the two officers that live here do a wonderful job. If you have a problem you might want to call them instead of sitting at the computer complaining about a community that has done nothing but their best to make the people who live here happy. Every community has its problems but the service I personally get from the staff has been nothing more than amazing. Yeah things can get slowed with the workorders but keep in mind (again get your facts straight) they only have 4 maintenance guys for what use to be two seperate communities. That is a lot of work for four guys and over 350 apartments. I think the rest of us that live here are the lucky ones. As long as people like you who cant find anything good to say decide to leave it will be more peaceful....PS i see the lawncare guys outside my window once a week. AND!!! every mmorning the "almost non existant maintenance" is outside picking up the property...again get your facts straight... For anyone who wants to be somewhere they know their needs are being met, take it from someone who has been here for years...amist all the changes the tenants are number one.

Wow, witty response. You must work here, monitor the site much? Either way, I am posting my experience, not yours. So shut your mouth and speak for yourself, and I'll speak for myself. P.S., thanks for showing some balls "anonymous"
